When I went to the strip in June there was one with exhaust (catback for sure) maybe more exhuast than that...it did sound good. It was on ET Streets and skinnies. Dropping the clutch from I'd say at around 4K and was running low 13's.

that is funny since 99-04 GTs are running mid to high 12s with the same mods.

We could all be beat on any given day by most any given car... I have had Mustangs and Spent lots of $$ on them. IMO lS1 is still the way to go!! I always love a good street race reguardless of what kind of car ir is.. Just dont like being caught..

sorry bro, but that is a little to far fetched for me to beleive. 99-04 GT's are low 14 sec cars, w/ a full exhaust and DR's I do NOT see one chopping off 1.5-1.7 seconds. I have been to the track way to many times and have never ever seen that. I have seen an 04 w/ full bolt-ons only hittin 13.5's........maybe the guy couldn't drive, but there is now way in hell he was that bad, he hit the same times very consistantly all day?????????? plus you are in Ohio, which has more elevation than me, here in NC.???????

Mustank GT's are slow. I ran a '03 Cobra on the freeway and was even till 140 where I pulled a fender. We both stayed on it bouncing the needle, he didn't catch back up. Still he refuses to admit being owned. Poor dissalutioned Mustank people!

^you must have some serious work done, verts are heavier than a regular fbody and to do that to an 03/04 cobra means you have mods. What ya got done to your car??

If he says stock, we know he is FOS. Just be glad that 03/04 didn't have a pulley. That would be the first thing I do to it. Pulley, exhaust & tires and 11s @ 120 mph are real easy.

Hell where we are at you won't see an 11 second Cobra. Most of them are in the 13's high 12's on there best day. I need to go run where ya'll are at. Hell mine would be fucking a 10 second car where ya'll are at.

I agree that's what they run stock. Here, we are at or near sea level so we don't have any elevation issues.

I'm usually down your way a couple of times a year. My dad's family is in Brunswick, Ga and my monther's side is from Atmore, alabama. I'm the yankee in the family.

Most of those cars are modded running 13's or 12's.

I would imagine LS1s aren't performing up to par either. It wouldn't make sense for a car that depends more an atmospheric pressure to perfrom well under the same conditions.
