01 WS6 vs 01 Stang
Question for all you geniuses out there....I have just purchased a 2001 WS6 M6 w/80,000 miles and have a friend with whom I work with....happens to be my boss actually....anyways, he has a 01 Mustang GT 5-Speed with 80,000 miles as well with which he says is a "level 1 Steeda"....basically just a Steeda exhaust on it...I want to know how close it will be from a dig and some highway fun runs....here's a list of some of his mods:
Larger throttle body
pulley's
shift kit
Steeda X-Pipe and cat back
what do you guys think????what gas mileage???

It won't be close anywhere. He's 260bhp stock, with those mods maybe another 10-20. And this from a Ford guy.
In fact, this is such a silly post I'm wondering if you are even serious.

Driven both my ass....if he did ever drive a ls1 he wouldn't be saying that it'll be close, check his motor and make sure he doesn't have a blower on it.

make sure he doesnt have a bottle hidden somewhere... that seems to be a mustang tactic.... for some reason they think having a 150 shot on a stock motor means they are still stock...

The "cheater bottle" is a Mustang driver's favorite. As far as "stock" goes, it's stock as long as you don't get caught

put it this way: I've owned 7 mustangs and 2 ls1s...it's not even CLOSE
I had a 2000 GT with a vortech kit, and on a safe tune was making 341rwhp. My 99 z28 made 330rwhp with basic bolt ons!
Then again, I had an 03 cobra with 501rwhp/478rwtq...but that's another story...
