first run in with a G8

Nice kill! When it's time for me to get a 4-door car, I think I've found the top of my "want list"! I think the G8 is a sharp looking ride and it should respond relatively well to mods. All-in-all, it's a nice, cost effective alternative to the CTS-V.

True to a point. The 6spd automatic helps too.

Regarding a used CTS-V? The V is definitely faster, lighter, better handling, far nicer interior and an LS2. Food for thought.

GXP will be nice, but even heavier. Good competition for the SRT-8 though.
