Let's give SLP/ and our Sponsor a chance

I recently purchased a considerable amount of products from SLP, and that included a set of LT headers. They went into their own cats then into their 3" Y-Pipe, then followed into their own Loud Mouth 1 exhaust system.
SLP has a pretty bad reputation around here, and elsewhere, so let's see what happens when I try to get ahold of them through one of our own sponsors, which is who I purchased these products from. In other words, is SLP going to co-operate with our own sponser, and be on the up and up, or ?
Here's the problem; After only 3800 miles, one of the cats completely broke up inside and let all the catalist go through the exhaust sytem. I have to either pay to have the cat(s) replaced, or in my opinion, they should replace them, or at least the one. I said two, because they only sell them in pairs to the best of my knowledge. The cat was NOT damaged, or hit in any way.
I feel that SLP, and our sponsor LMPerformance should have a fair chance at this before we judge them, I have not contacted either of them, other than to ask if SLP offers a 3" catless Y-Pipe, which LMPerformance said at the time, they didn't.
So gentlemen, I'm asking your opinion, do you think SLP will come through with another set of cats? Or will I be stuck?

    You are screwed.

Unless LMP just eats the cats. They may.
SLP won't. They could care less about their customers.

They were SLP's best Hi Flo performance cats, the ones they include with their own LT header package. I will keep everyone updated as I begin this process of contacting our sponsor, and what they do about this situation. If nothing else, at least all of you guys know what to expect if you purchase the same package and it happens to you.

I don't like their sfc on lowered cars, they are too low. I scraped a fair amount with them, so we took them off and put it on my dads non lowered car and they are fine.

    *UPDATE*
Okay, I called our sponsor, LMPerformance, they were polite, and let me know that I was to get ahold of SLP directly, here's the number if you guys might need it yourself in the future. (732) 349-2109 ask for Joey, he handles returns. Okay, now, here's how it works. They will replace the cat, or refund your money, your choice. Providing the following; the cat has NOT been damaged in any way. NO scrapes, or dings in the cat. If you tell them it is undamaged, and ship it them, (and by the way YOU will pay for ALL shipping. Both ways for the cat to be shipped to them, and for the replacement cat to be shipped back to you, even if they are sending it to you free of charge) and they discover that it indeed does have some external damage done to it, you can then at your discretion, according to our good buddy Joey, be sold a new cat. At or "near their cost". So gentlemen, there you have it. In the end here in your opinion, did SLP come through, or did they further bury themselves?
I have to say that they handled it well, I was not put on hold at any time, but rather put right through to Joey, same with LMPerformance,[never put on hold] they were professional. Joey at SLP said, "Why don't you take a good look at that cat again before I write up the return, and make sure there's no damage done to it at all, so there's no surprise later on". He told me everything up front. Sure we would have liked for them to cover all the shipping costs, but honestly, most companies don't cover return shipping. I really can't say much about our sponsor LMPerformance, because they were pretty much off the hook on this one, and just referred me to SLP, but they gave me the number right away, and were helpful.
    Opinions please gentlemen.

I'm going to close this because the issue was resolved and it's not really about one of our sponsors. It's more about SLP than LMP. At this point opinions will do no one any good.
