    toyota corolla

a few nights ago i was cruisin around headed to my cousins house and on the way i pulled up next to a newer style corolla s with local motorsport shop stickers and a coffee can. i was going along no more than 2k rpms a gear, but the slp loudmouth exhaust sounds like im playing around alot, but anyways we hit a few lights and i was talkin on the phone so i didnt notice it til the second light. both lights 1 and 2 i would be somewhat ahead of the car and he would pass me after i hit the speed limit. but the third light comes up and i hang up and i do the same but as he comes to pass me he got a bit behind my rear tires then i punched and let the warzone come out of the exhaust. i get around 60 and he turned on a side road with no blinkers on and he just barely shut off his lights. i was a bit bummed because i knew that i shouldnt have wasted the gas but it was the right place and the right time so i let it go

Thats ironic because I smashed a fly in the window of my booth the other day at a diner, and I thought, 'damn, should I have wasted that napkin?'

I know, you see these guys around and they are just asking for it. Like why the hell would you put a body kit, carbon fiber wing, custom paint, etc. on a Geo Storm? Or a fart can and 20lbs of mod stickers on a '95 Ford Escort GT? It's like you want to drive by them and .

Just remember its your gas and you can do whatever you want with it. But if you got pulled over for racing one of these jokers, don't post about it on here.

That's a nice Z you got there, looks like similar mods of my ride. What kind of numbers are you making with that setup? Got any pics or vids? I feel like my numbers are kinda low.

i ended up with 306 whp and 323 wtq. i dont currently have any type of suspension mods or andything to help put the power to the ground. that was before the free ram air mod i dont that would have made more than 2-5hp difference. my sig has all that has been done to it but tax refund paid for some sub frames and tower bar. what mods are you runnin with. i know i gained about 25hp and 35tq from the tune alone. as for gettin pulled over that has been the first time ive played with it on the street with other cars on it and in that case i think all i had to do was stay ahead of the toy so they could get him while i just go. i found a few back roads that i can play a bit on and i usually keep it to a minimum though.

I was tuned in September last year, in the middle of the heat wave. I'm sure if the air was cooler I would have pulled a little better. I gained 18whp and 18wtq with the tune so I do feel a little jipped. What AFR are you at? I'm wondering if I was left too rich at AFR: 12.4 to 13.1

Is the strut tower brace worth it? I've gone back and forth on that one.

the tower bar and sub frames are en route so i will find out soon. My afr is 12.4 to 12.6 and it seems to be running great as opposed to before. the headers had my afr at 14.7 to 15.0 and it was a completely different car afterwards. so if u read this and think headers dont throw off your afr... THEY DO!!!! lol. but i am still shoppin around for little things here and there. mostly susp. and cosmetic stuff and then in about 6 months or so i will be able to get a few go fast goodies.

i thought the same thing about the toy. i am a union worker and a strong supporter of american made products and even though toyota has a few plants in the continental U.S. they are non-union and i am still not a fan. i'll go with blue ovals before any toy.

UNION WORKERS ARE THE REASON YOU HAVE WEEKENDS!!!
