I don't even race '96-98 GT's. I remember when MM&FF struggled to get their test stocker into the 14's, and finally did it with a 14.99 after about 8 passes. Without PI heads + other significant mods they're garbage.

Yea I was going to say the 96-98 GTs are POSes unless it has the PI heads.
But I dont think the 96-98 cobras werent that bad. Solid rear axel with the DOHC 4.6

lol... dont know. no biggie though 1800 miles and one ticket in a 640rwhp cobra isnt too bad. i love driving back home in the Cobra. So many nice cars in the midwest

i think i raced one tonight?? it was like a 95-99.. or something like that.. he kicked it in first gear and right before you shifted i noticed he was racing?? 2-3 i put about 23.3 car lengths on him.. i know this because i got out and measured... well.. actually it was probably 25... but by the time i was done measuring he had gained another 1.7 lengths.....

I think you might mean 94-98? 99+ was the new body stype and 92 was the last year of the foxbodies but nice kill either way.
BTW the stock 95 (and 94 if they made them in 94) cobras were slow becasue it had the 5.0
The 96-98 got the nice DOHC 4.6 4V motor....

93 was the last year of the fox, and the 94-95 Cobra's arent THAT slow. they did put down rwhp in the 220's. should trap 96-98 mph.
