I've driven both and the srt8 feels considerably faster than the rt. I don't know what motor week did wrong, but they obviously did something wrong.

I didn't say what motor week did was the and all be all of car testing just reporting what I saw as far as the defferences between the two cars. The "feel" of a car a.k.a butt dyno isn't always the best indicator or power anyway. Like the new mustangs, im sure to alot of people they feel faster than they actually are.

Yeah, I know the butt dyno isn't a real good indicator, but I've driven enough fast cars to tell when a car is almost a second faster in the quarter than another. Most of the time differences I've seen between the two range from .8 to 1.5 in the quarter.

I don't know man for the price of those things you would think they would do more than they do. I gotta say they are tough looking cars Im just not crazy about the all plastic door panels...unless thats just in the V6 version. Plus 420 lbft of torque and 425hp will make anything feel pretty damn fast.

That's a very high mph for an R/T. That's not a stocker, what mods?

All we have done to it is K&N Air Filter, and About 750$ worth of exhaust (Borla Cat Back) Cause from the factory you can't even tell its a V-8 its so quiet

I wish i could break into the 10's. The best time I have ever run is 11.49 on the bottle. Low 12's on just the motor. Im going to the track Wednesday with new tires to try and do better, I just got a tune last week and some nittos. Im thinking about a pro charger next but I want to rebuild my motor before I do that... I just hit 130k miles.

You know full bolt-on and tuned R/Ts run 104mph traps, right?

When we bought it before I had the exhaust and air filter done on it we were 13.9/14 flat at 101 to 102 consistently... The times are a little worse since we had the work done but the trap speed has been 103/104
