need help calling this one

i have a friend that has a 2004 gto with a diablo tune (but a custom one the one that come in the tuner) a cold air intake and 80 series flow-masters cats. He's racing a 2006 gto stock so they say i wont know until i look at it myself, but anyway do you guys think he has a chance. This race is for money by the way.

But what kind of trannys do each have and is it from a roll or dig?

Like said above is it from a roll or a stop? Both autos or what trannys?
Either way it will be a good race.

When the GTO came out it had an LS1 in it then GM put the Ls2 in it.
I did witness a bird beat a GTO by three cars but the bird used a 150 shot of nos.

5.7<6.0

Sorry, but you need more mods than that to make up for the engine difference.

No you dont it can be a driver prob, some one who going all out then you have a driver whos not willing to or dont want to hurt there baby.

The 04 is a A4 and the 06 is a M6 and there doing from a roll and then from a dead stop. It looks like iam going to have to tell him not to do it .

i think the 6.0 will still take out the 5.7 like said above I dont think the LS1 has enough mods to take out an ls2

If the M6 driver knows how to drive the LS2 should win.

Yea if the 06 driver can drive he will spank the 04 tell your friend its a no go race especially from the roll.

f he didnt want to hurt his baby..he probably wouldnt be asking to race.

The '06 should win. He'll probably drop the hammer pretty high and have a good enough launch. He has an LS2 which is like 50hp more and those mods on the LS1 won't be enough to reel him in. The only thing your friend in the '04 can hope for is that the LS2 has traction problems.
