tuner in nc
i hope no one on this forum has ever used carolina auto masters in durham nc , the owner there is such a jerk. bought a car from a freind that cam had installed a cam and longtubes and stall converter and a set of l92 heads and also tuned by them. the car ran like crap while my freind had it and had been back several times for touch ups on the tune and the problems were always something elese like the pcm is not taking the new tune to the plugs are fouled to possiable bad gas or plug wires. i bought the car from him because he was tired of d...ing with jeff and his excuses so i took it to rynns performance machines in garner nc, rynn tuned the car and gave me graph of the bullsh.. fuel curve and advance that the master had done and said no wonder it ran like sh.. .rynn retuned and so far everything has been great better fuel mileage and overall better driveablity so my advice stay away from cam in durham nc, don't mean to bash just the truth

RPM (Ryans Performance Machines in Garner) done the tune on my car. They know what they are doing and do great work!! I had heard bad things about CAM, so that's why I went to them and I'm so glad I did.

I have dealt with Jeff Creech from CAM (Carolina Auto Masters).
His shop damaged my hood while installing a Vortech supercharger.
The cost of repair cost me $192.00. He stated he sent me a check, but I never received the check. I asked him for the check number and never heard from the guy again!.
Oh ..and about his lifetime tune...thats only if you continue to agree with him. The first time you do not agree with him on something, he will tell you to find someone else. You have to hang off his nuts or be one of his clonies.
Is the guy knowledgable ?? yes. Does he need to improve his customer/client relations ?? YES!!!!!!!!!!!
My advice, find someone else to do your tune like RPM.Last edited by Tman; 01-27-2008 at 12:36 PM. Reason: i before e

He let one of his employees Terry Coley (non-fucking driver) take the car for the weekend to drive and obviously lost it at high speed.
Here is a link sorry I thought I posted it the first time.
