    12's?? Great. I did that with nothing but a built auto/ Yank 3200-stall, slicks, and a basically stock LT1 motor.

    Even though we all know the LS1 is far better than a 2v there are plenty out there that could lay a HUGE ass whoopin on a LS1. The LS1 is just a better starting platform. It doesn't automatically mean that if you have a LS1 you will beat a 2v.

    So your 12 came with slicks. Hell I could have done that last year but I value the rear end and do not currently want to upgrade to 33 spline axles.

    My mods are far less in overall performance gain than yours were. xpipe, catback, pulleys which equated to a 2.2 60ft 13.90@102, 2987ft DA. The track is actually at 400ft so in cooler weather the times would come down ALOT. I have 4.30s installed now.

    I previously owned a stalled Z28, we all know what stalls and tires do for 1/4 mile times.
