So I was on my way to the Irvine F-body meet on Sunday morning....

...when, not 7 miles from home I see a silver 5 or 7 series BMW doing stupid Shi-...stuff on the freeway behind me. He's weaving in and out of cars, and i notice theres one more car he needs to pass to get into the open....MINE!

Well, I'm a cocky kind of guy, and I know my SS has got some pep in her, and the girl i'm dating is really scared of my SS (and she's sitting right next to me, mind you) so I do what every other red blooded American would do.... I get on it.

The Beemer notices i'm speeding up so he decides to go around the CJ cruiser on the other side.....well surprise, when he gets around the truck I'm there to meet him. I stay on the gas, not very close to the floorboard either, and he decided he's faster than me....I KNOW he's not.

Next thing I know, i'm almost flooring it and he's trying to pass me. I decide to get to WOT and leave him. At this point I let off to let her relax a bit (my girl, not my car). I'm letting my foot off the gas and when i look down, we're doing 126 down the 5 freeway. She said when she looked over we were doing about 131.

But i think the beemer now knows the when you see "QISMY SS" if front of you.... Do as your told!!!

i'm not sure.... i think he was mid 20's??? In La, he was probably a younger armenian dude... but it's all goood....

cool. i have a story kinda like that but ill post it seperate. that's awesome though. is yours the automatic or manual because i notice your first ever drag time for the 1/8 was 8.6 and that's what i ran my first time in my lt1 camaro (auto when it was stock)

I actually do have an auto..... but i hope my time goes down with my new 3.73's. =)

i don't know anything about ls1's in the 1/8th... that should make a huge difference though. from the 2.81 factory that is a huge change. i was thinking a 3.02 eventually but i have to get good gas mileage still. is 8.6 about what an ls1 camaro does in the 1/8th stock though. i don't know anything about it and im just wondering?

Jimmy, i'm not sure... i've only had my camaro about 7 months, and i've only gone to the track once. =( Ask these guys...they seem to know EVERYTHING!!!

Thats a Great Kill... I think that little smiley dude patting the other one on the head was hilarious...

Though my Dad does drive a Bimmer, he was an SS driver previously, so he shows the respect and loves the car for the car... A lot of BMW drivers are morons though and it is great to put them in their place...
