My mods per HP
When I went to the dyno, I put down 330hp and 340 TQ. This was on a Mustang dyno with non- detergent break-in oil since i just put 750 mi. on the brand new engine. It was my first time to thrash on it but anyways my mods are as follows: Wiseco forged pistons, Ported and polished heads ( CFM @ 28"-intake-244.45, exhaust-190.21) Comp Cams 222/224-566/568 @ 112 lsa. Comp Cams magnum chromenoly pushrods, Comp Cams 918 beehive valve springs, Engine block hone of .005, forged Eagle 6.125 rods with ARP 2000 bolts, Clevite main and cam bearings, TSP ported LS6 oil pump, Hexagon timing set, Hooker longtube headers, custom 3'' y-pipe exaust, Fuddle 3400 lockup torque converter, lid. My question is, shouldn't this thing be making more power than that? I know mustang dyno's rob power and so do TQ converters but I was expecting at least 370 whp. I run an 8.21 @ 87 mph with a 2.0 60' on street tires. Any info???

Your head airflow seems very close to stock IMO
Did you dyno it before the mods to see what the difference was.
Something obviously isn't right cause even a cam only car can do better than that.Craig

The heads are only 11 cfm over stock, but I was thinking the same thing. I have heard cam only cars making around 350 whp. I am just wondering how much my TQ converter robbed as well as the mustang dyno itself. Also, something may be up with my tuning being too rich. I can sit at a red light and smell the fumes. When I am at the track, my car runs better when I hot lap it. My first pass with the exact same 60' time was like an 8.4 then I got right back in line immediately after running it and pulled out the 8.21. Maybe my tuner has made my car run to fat?

Something definitely is not right. I have basically 2 mods and those are headers and off road y. I put down 320hp and 333tq with just those. You have a cam and few more goodies on top of that. A converter wont rob all that much power either.

Something is not right. You might be running way rich and maybe bad timing? Not sure how the stall is involved but that could play a role. I'm a bolt-on (stock internal) A4 and I got 320whp / 335wtq on a Mustang dyno on a hot and sticky day last August. With H/C I'd expect you between 350-370whp. What are your AFR numbers?
