It's an A4 and I post under the same name here as over there. It's got 19,171 miles on it, but I don't think I'll ever sell it, so the low number doesn't scare me away from driving it. ;D

It's the only year you should want....a '96! I fell into that deal like nobody's business! It had 76,xxx miles on it and I paid a cool 8 thousand for it. My buddy paid 12,900 for his and it had just over 100,000 miles on it. I've got all kinds of plans for the car, but for now the sound system is all I need. Oh! I will post up a few pics of the system later, as well.

Actually, someone gave me the car last Saturday. The owners told me that they thought I could take better care of it and that it would be represented better with me. They're a very wealthy family that my mom has been friends with before they had two pennies to rub together. They believe that my mom has given them wise counsel for their marriage and business and thought that it was time to bless our family.
Man! All of my close friends couldn't believe that I only paid that much for the car. The dealer I bought it from was really into my excitement about the car, and since it had been on his lot for months he let me have it for much lower than what he was asking. His original price was 10,500 which is still a great price, but my jaw dropped when he said "Well young man, give me eight thousand dollars and you've got yourself a heck of a deal on the car and free oil changes for two years".
I looked about like this after the purchase was finalized:

Nah, it was a free of charge vehicle. Oh wait, I mean, I paid a dollar for it (terrible Arkansas gift tax).

LOL Thanks, but I like to think of myself as blessed. My butt rode around all through high school without any heat in a 4000lb. LeMans with Cherry Bombs and pissing cops off. Now all cops do is look and wave most of the time and I'm usually not freezing said butt off. LOL

If I had waited a week longer, I would have had the chance to own a '96 GGM SS, but I'm more partial to black anyway. Thank you for the compliment.
I truly am blessed to own this car now. It has put a lot of faith back into me that I had become jaded to. It's almost silly to think that a car can do that, but I'm living proof! Thank you, as well, for the compliment.
I'm going to make that car a staple in my family. I'm certain that my gift will inspire others, as well as keep me in line at maintaining a humble attitude. I appreciate your compliment, too. Thank you.
