The tailpipes might be a little different. The Mid-pipe is the same from the muff to about 1' before the cat or connection.

headers- slp tuned length LT's, high flow cats, 3 inch collector
    exhaust- slp loudmouth

its pretty loud with that set up. just the idle sounds like a beast from the outside, sounds great in the car. roars like a lion at wot. the headers are mad low though, only thing i dont like about the slp headers

    real sound

Hey guys. Alot of these recordings using camcorders have an auto noise reduction. You dont really get how loud certain set-ups are.

My car is quieter than that most of the posted clips...

Hear is a true copy/video of what a simple SLP 1 LM cat back can give you:

Does anyone know a model number / Part number of the Pace Car Corsa Muffler? Just the mufflers? I know i can find corsa mufflers available, but the one i'm looking for is the Pace Car style muffler. The catback is available on the C5, but not the Fbody. i want the Corsa C5 "Pace car" sound with my true dual setup, but i dont want to be disappointed just buying any corsa mufflers...
    Thoughts?

SLP Power Flo catback w/ Corsa clone tips
(I'll load a sound clip soon as I get a chance)
Quite at idle, loud and deep at WOT(not raspy), and quites at cruising on the highway which is what I liked about this setup, and if I ever want it louder I can just delete the LM2 and keep just the Power Flo mufflers.

The LM1 is a resonator and not an actual muffler and is louder than the LM2 which is more of a race muffler and will still be loud but not so much, sound more like a car with the dynomax bullet race mufflers.

Ok, so in the past few months I've gone through a few different combos and got sounds clips of most.

    LPP headers...

Here is LPP (SSautochrome) long tubes and ORY into an SLP Loud Mouth 2 catback and a bit of an exhaust leak between the two.

    High Rev...

    Fly By...

Ok so I had a DMH electronic cutout ready to go in and the only good spot to put it after they Y pipe was where the SLP LM2 was. So I got rid of the LM2 and had the cutout installed.

Here is a rev with the cutout closed and NO mufflers (still a bit cold as you can see)....

Here is with the cutout open...

Not much difference I know Really raspy and just not really a good tone to it. These videos were taken moments before leaving to have mufflers put on.

It was nice and LOUD as hell so I need to refine it a bit and I wasnt much of a fan of the SLP dual dual tips anymore so thanks to Brandon at Pypes exhaust I got GMMG clone mufflers. Went over to the shop and had them put on along with new tips (Afterthoughsauto.com Corsa clone tips).

Here are some pictures of the set up...

Now here is a rev soundclip of the setup...

    MORE CLIPS TO COME!

sounds great IMO, maybe a little too "raw" for some people's taste. It has a loud and rough idle b/c of the cam, good note throughout the rpm's, and plug your ears for WOT. It gets very very raspy right at 2500rpm's for some reason, but then gets smoother again at 3000rpm's.
This is what im thinking about doing on my car. But im unsure of whether to get the LM1 or LM2. Have you ever had the LM1 on your car with that set up? I know the LM2 is supposed to be a little bit mellower. I thought about buying the LM1 then always popping it out and swithching the resonator for the LM2 though.

I love this setup. I don't have much cash, and for being a budget exhaust I think its great. The Magnaflow gives the exhaust the perfect tone

I've never heard the LM1 in person, only on internet clips and it does sound a bit louder. The LM2 is good if your going for the "loud" exhaust, but i think there are "meaner" ones out there. Don't get me wrong, put the LM2 on there and it'll sound like it wants to eat your kid, but people will also hear it coming a mile away. On a side note, whatever you do, don't get the TSP rumbler. It's so fucking loud it hurts your ears
Here's a vid of a dyno of the car with the pacesetter headers, ory, and LM2 (cammed and spraying).

I know a lot of people around here use these headers ... They have great stuff!! My friend used their headers and they bolted right on without a problem.

Thanks for the comment about the TSP system. I was actually strongly considering it cuz of how cheap it was, but after this not at all.

    stolen by "Josh Steel"

For any one looking for a great system and not wanting to break the bank I would sugest the baisic SLP loud mouth set up. I Put on a borla and decided to go back to my Loudmouth headers and cat back. I never bought the Hi-flow cats. I just busted out the hollowed out my stock cats a bit. It sounded better than the borlas and was relitivly quite below 2500. once you broke 3-3.5k rpm it sounded like some sort of demonic hurricane. I think it gave the best of both worlds. I know A lot of the people above have much nicer set ups but I truly belive if you are waching your dollars the SLP set up is your best band for your buck! I would post pics and a sound clip but my car was stolen and wrecked by a no good rotten piece of shit named Josh Steen in PA. Hope this might help some one.
