I thought he was referring to the TBSS because a 14.4 sucks so bad for an LS2.

SRT-8s make good power but i have heard they are one of the hardest motors to work on plus there isnt really an aftermarket parts selection for them

As far as per mod power, those HEMI motors might be a little better than our LSX blocks.

Adding a cam alone gives massive power, or so I've heard through the grapevine.

I know, huh? Those 12second, 110mph trap speed, super-practical, big 4-doors with all sorts of luxury items that handle great for a sedan...just plain suck.

It is a four door car man. A family type car, and thus brick shithouse heavy. They are nice, don't get me wrong, but the Challenger is a hot-rodders type of vehicle. Two doors, reasonable weight, and a manual tranny.

I am sorry, but auto trannies are just not as fun to drive as manuals. Plus, you can "play" a manual tranny car (with a good exhaust) like an instrument. My friends can tell if I am driving a car just by the way it sounds going through the gears.

The Challenger is where it's at. I will take mine orange, long-tubes, Borla exhaust, big cam, and a custom paint job, lets see the American flag on top (don't want to get controversial), and black 08 painted on the doors. (cause I got an 8" meat cannon )

That 90minute GM commercial targeted towards the teenage crowd was fun to watch.

Go watch "Vanishing Point", the original and remake and then make a fair and balanced decision (Challenger vs. Camaro) on what car to buy based on some movie....

But I agree, 4100lbs, 13 city and 4 doors does have it's limitations...but that is the sacrifice of performance and size.

Those numbers are kinda quick from the ones I have seen. The best I have seen stock in my area is high 14's. I have never seen a TBSS even come close to hanging with a SRT 8 even with a car load. YOur only talking about a few tenths of a second.

well im not full of bull shit. and big d you know that our tbss's are good from the start untill 80 then its a brick. you find me a srt-8 with a 1000+ pounds of fat and ill put money on it and win every time.

on a side note when it was hot at the track last month this srt-8 could not get bellow 14's(he ran about 5 times) and i was running 13.8 all stock.

I just sold my TB SS. It had a Vector tune and cold air intake and it ran 13.51 They run real good till 1000ft and then their fat ass dies....... They are heavy but ride like caddys. I miss mine but not the gas mileage. 12.6 avg.
