how would i do against a stock cobra
You can see the mods in my sig. I have a feeling that I will get pulled a couple cars by a stock 03-04 cobra, but how much rwhp do they usually make stock?I also believe I have a weight advantage of 300 lbs. I haven't had my car dynoed but I think it would make 325 rwhp. The cobras run mid to high 12's in the quarter but I haven't taken my car to the track yet. What do you guys think?

had a tune with those long tubes? terms are VERY rarely stock so your kinda dreamin from the start
lol...but against a 100 percent stock one.....u should stick close if uve had a tune after those long tubes.....def have a shot in a short race 0-80 or so

They make anywhere form 345-380rwhp. Lots of factory freaks. If the guy can't drive it will be close, do not underestimate a stock Cobra.

i dunno, i had 2 buddies in lubbock with ls1's, one with a t/a and no weight reduction and the other with a stock CONVERTIBLE SS camaro, both of which pulled this other friend of mine's stock cobra. the stock cobra isn't near what you'd think it would be, at least in my experience.

i have a 2001 m6 trans am non ws6 and a few weeks ago i was at the track and i was going up against an 03 cobra i dont know the mods or anything of it, but i was running stock except for slp lm2. and this was my second time racing at the track. he got me at first of the line then after i ran through first and he second i passed him up and at the end i beat him by like two car lengths, his time was like in the low 14's. i mean he could have just been doing test runs i dunno but i was surprised to beat him.

2 of my buddies both have '03 terms and one of them was telling me that they are actually under rated for power. he said his was rated at 375 hp or so when he got it but he's heard that it's a little closer to 400. but terms are pretty fast stock and u only have to do a couple mods to them to put down some serious power. my friends cobra is pushing 555 hp at the crank and that's with very few mods. Kenne Bell Cobras are the ones you REALLY have to watch out for

yea, I've seen several videos of ls1 f bodies pulling a car or two on bolton cobras. not sure if they were pullied. Looks like i'll have to get h/c and 100 shot to even the odds a little. I can't afford it right now, but a decent h/c swap, tune and 100 shot would put me over 500 rwhp, right?

^ I have to agree. Its a shame when the people that own those cars dont know how to drive them. But the ones that do...holy hell watch out.

Listen a cobra with a pulley is making 440rwhp-480rwhp depending on pulley size and his tune, also headers and exhaust to make those numbers. Alot of people cant get those cars out of the 13s but a good driver should be running 12.6-12.9 with a stock one. I ran a 12.87 with just headers, catback a lid and no tune. I could probably beat soem bad drivers and keep up with good drivers, but you dont know what you run in your car. To answer the question you need to find out how fast you are.
