wow ok..
so the other day im behind this 02 z06. were cruising going about 80 mph, and he hits it. so i hit it ... and by 145 i had to change lanes so i didnt hit the back of him.. and all i have is a 98 trans am, the engine is brand new, 4k miles. air lid, and flowmaster... and YES he was flooring it.. if we were side by side i would have put 1-2 cars on him. is my engine like a freak or something?

maybe he didn't think he had to downshift and just floored it.... i got cocky like that with an srt4 once, i was in 3rd geat at like 2,000rpm, he rolls up on me. I didn't bother to downshift and just floored it.. he still only got me by about a car and a half so i didnt feel too bad

Black n Black- 04 Dodge Ram 07 CBR1000RR
My buddies 1970 Monte with 400 sbc kept up with a 98 vette up to about 140, we figured that based on RPM's.. After that the vette started to pull away of course, old cars can't go much higher than that. Come to find out it was our guidence conselor from high school. Idk about your experience though, my buddy has some internal work along with other stuff, no not nitros done to his boat to get it to keep up.
