His custom "shelby cobra escort" interior weighed his car down too much. He should have countered it with porting his exhuast tips. THEN he could have taken you.

yeah i was thinking if he were to wax his car to reduce wind resistance, and gain about 150hp then tint his windows to gain about 35hp he would take me by at least 4-5 cars...

I don't think he would've smoked you with the ported exhaust tips, but it definitely would have been a LOT closer. That, a cone filter, and !spare/jack, then you would've been done for.

how would the spare jack help him go faster? Those things weight a lot it would slow the car down by atleast 7 seconds.

Also you have to note that his was carbon fiber, so it only slowed him down about 2 seconds.

It's all because he left his stickers, wing, and body kit at home and forgot all about it. Wel all know a fbody doesn't stand ANY chance against 3 dozen stickers, a waxed fiberglass body kit, and a 3 foot tall wing. The stickers alone are 15 HP each so with the extra space over our f bodies they get easy HP on us.

I don't get it,

Why would he leave his stickers, body kit, and the 3 foot spoiler at home? Everyone knows its a good idea to put a rear spoiler on a FWD car to keep down all that downforce and that 145 hp down. That hp/weight ratio really kills us. That is if they dont forget to leave it at home

I knew a guy where I work that had e a mid 90s escort. He went out and bought a bunch of Ford Cobra stuff for it. Seat covers and floormats and even a steering wheel cover. Then changed all his hoses with colored replacement hoses from O'rileys and talked a bunch of BS on how is car would smoke mine. To bad he got fired before we got to race. He wasnt even cool enought to be considered a ricer.

same kinda thing happened to me. I was driving down the hwy in my '98 Z28 and a damn Dodge Neon starts messing with me and tries to race me. He punched it and got up to about 110 (i let him go first, lol) Then i put it down and blew by him doing 150mph while flipping him the bird out of the T-top.

okay so here's an update on this guy...he's a total dumbass. everytime he sees me or my friend now he drops down to first and zooms by then stops and waits for us and when we get up he stomps it, then when we do the same...about ten seconds later, as soon as we catch him he'll turn off...

Now, to make matters worse...
his even more dumbass friend bought an identical car to his escort only it's green instead of silver... he chopped off his entire muffler... and he drives as bad if not worse than his friend...
So, I was getting gas one night and the guy says "hey like my ride?" i tell him it's pretty nice and he proceeds to say "ya it would smoke your car, since it has a turbo" and i told him I've dynoed and gone to the track and had nothing to prove... well i leave and he comes smoking past me almost swiping my car (that i had just spent all day detailing!) i was super pissed but i ignored it and went on then he tries to race me and a police officer is sitting about four block away from us so i see him and don't gun it, and the guy burns out and gets pulled over...I later get pulled over because that guy called the police on me and said I tried to run him off of the road, the next day my friend calls me and says the guy came down to his job saying how he beat me,and that I set him up, and called the police on him because he beat me, well later that day my fiance' went into labor, and the stupid shit got on my ass while we were on our way to the hospital!! move forward: this past week we brought our 7 week premature daughter home from the hospital, we're so lucky they released her, and this dumb ass flys up on my ass with my baby in the back seat of my FIREBIRD!!! and a few nights ago everyone went out to the races and this dumb ass is racing people and after his 2nd or 3rd ass smoking...he pulls up by me and my friend and rolls down his window... HE HAS A BABY IN A CARSEAT IN HIS BACKSEAT!!! this guy is seriously pissing me off, I'm about to race him for titles call DHS on his ass, and then beat the crap out of him....
GAHHHH! SOME PEOPLE JUST CAN'T FACE REALITY....
ricers are one thing, but this guy is nuts....
