well since they were coilovers he did try raising around 8cm but it was still really bad. he's broke since he spent all his $ on the car and can't afford to fix the body so he's just gonna sell it and buy a stang gt. its a step up I guess

i'm gonna have to agree w/this theory as well cuz I can't think of any other reason. One of my best friends has a 240sx which looks like it came out of a dumpster(he's actually selling it). yet for some reason girls stare at his car all the fucking time, yeh it's fast and can keep up wit me on a good day but it sounds/looks like shit. people turn and look just from the sound. yet when my loud ass camaro comes plowing through I get nuttin

I don't have any problems with imports as long as their put together well. Then again that is really hard to come by so I guess I'm just speaking hypotheticals lol. Motor wise my friend's 240 is solid, it's a properly done engine swap. it's just that they ran out of money after the motor

If it bares a Honda, Nissan, Toyota, Subaru, or Mitsubishi emblem on it, the chances are highly likely that I will not like the car one bit.
There may be exceptions, but minimal at best.
While I appreciate performance cars, not many fall into that category for me. One exception I can think of on todays market would be the GT-R. NOW that's a ricer I could live with in my garage.

Personally I like anything fast but in my eyes imports are great DDs. I would much rather build a v8 than a 4 cylinder or another straight 6(like i had in my supra). Although all engines would be fun and can make power its just easier to make decent power with reliability with a v8 and usually cheaper too.
