Something was definitely wrong with that Civic. I mean, if he's making the power you're making, and is hundreds of lbs. lighter he should have took you. Did he have traction problems? Seemed like you raced some ricer punk who didn't know what he was doing.
Seriously an H22 + turbo in a light Civic is a beast if it's tuned and set up correctly. One of my buddies has a Civic with a stock K20 engine running a GT35R on only 12psi. He runs a 10.66@133mph in the 1/4. I don't think I've seen him lose to anything on the street... except my car.
It's true that there are many slow, poorly built imports out there; however, there is a couple of us that know what we are doing, and know how to build an import to go fast. Funny thing is we don't hang around the import crowd, we hang around the "fast" crowd (which includes V8s, bikes, exotics) because they put up the challenge we're looking for instead of these silly ricers.

To the OP: You have LS6 heads & cam? I take it you've done these mods yourself, but you've never raced at the track or had it dynoed??? Hmmmmmmm.............

There are tons of dumb ass Honda boys around here who "claim" to have 300whp, because if their setup (engine swap and/or turbo) was done correctly then it would be capable of that. The problem is, these ass clowns usually do it half ass, by not getting the correct supporting mods or get it properly tuned so in the end, it runs like dog crap.

No vtecs go BOOM when the rod goes through the block from too much boost.
