    convertible top going down but not back up

    I have a 02' camaro ss convert. w/ only 34,000 miles and my con. top will go down with no problem but it will only raise up about 4 inches, then it stops and i have to raise it by hand. is the motor going out or is there anything else it could be

    I'd check both the pumps and the lines. Also, are any of the bows catching on anything? Are all of the pins good. I once had a potential problem with my 96 and the pins that hold the articulating part of the frame together. Screwed them back in place and it was fine.

    how do i tell if ther is a problem with the motors/lines. where r the pins? Im a rookie to the game i dont know the first thing about convertible tops.
