Which tranny oil?
Getting a new clutch put in soon, and will have to replace the tranny oil. Any recommendations?

I used AMSOIL ATF. Shifts into gear alot easier.

I use Pennzoil Multi-ATF or a Mercon V in my brass syncronized WorldClass
T-5. Shifts much smoother at low temps. Its a synthetic blend.-Tim

I'm about to change mine, I'm going to use Royal Purple's Syncromax Oil for Manual Transmisions. I'll let you know once I do, if there is any noticeable differences.

I forgot to post back here my impressions on the RP tranny oil. I put Royal Purple ATF in my wifes 00 Z28. The transmission now runs great. It is a lot smother when shifting from 1st to second or when you mash the gas and the transmission downshifts. I put Royal Purple Syncromax on my 02 WS6 6spd and the results are also good though not quite as drastic as the difference in my wifes car. Shifting is smooth and there is a bit less notchiness to the shifts. Overall I'm very happy and would recommend either of them.

Dunno how anyone elsse feels, but the words cheap and my SS rarely make it in the same sentance. I would imagine that cheap Dex III would work, but why buy a performance car to rob performance from it by putting cheap anything into it. IMHO run the best you can afford. Then your baby will always love you back. I went from stock Dex III to RP ATF and was EXTREMELY happy with the performance. And at 40 dollars every couple yrs..... how can you afford not to do it.
