Running WAY Rich

Ok i just bought a 92 Rs with a 350 i am assuming to be the L98. The problem is it has high idle and Runs WAY to rich. I need to know how to turn the idle down and lean out the mixture some. Any help would be appreciated with this.

is the check engine light on? too my knowledge, rs's never came with 350's. most had 305 tbi. did someone do an engine swap?

yes it was a swap out of a wrecked vette.

I dont know. Also when i romp on the engine it smokes a bit.

I would guess you have major vacuum leak....... So the computer thinks your at wide open throttle when at idle due to lack of vacuum.
Your description is VERY vague so you are un likely to get alot of responses.
