True Duals: any hidden suprises on install?

For those vert owners out there running true duals/LTs did you have any major issues or problems when installing or running them? Im planning on doing Pacesetter coated LTs, Xpipe and 2 12 inch dynomax bullets w/ dumps. Will I run into any issues with the x-brace or anything under there? Any advice or experiance is greatly appreciated!!

I ran long tubes with an ORY on my vert. The long tubes won't give you any problems Mike, but the x-brace has to go with an ORY. I am thinking it will have to go bye bye with an x-pipe as well. I never could notice any difference with it gone though.

Im pretty excited to get these on.. they look like a really cool set up. I guess they're not technically "TRUE" duals because of the xpipe.. but Im sure it'll be a night and day differance from the stock manifolds and flattened, catted y

Where is this pic located at? It looks like it is the brace and the panhard bar?
It is tough to see from that pic!

I made my own true duals with Kooks LT, and also fabbed up a new X-brace
They are 3" until just before the rear axle and then neck down to 2.5".
Plenty of room over the X-brace now.

I don't know abotu it being very clean I don't think I could do one in a time effective manner for someone, the universal kit from jegs was around $400 for all the X-pipe and all...then a full 2 days of my time welding...but it was the first exhaust I have ever done, I'm sure I could do the second one in a lot less time but probably still not cost effective for someone to pay me.

Is it true that when you run over the axle with duals you have to remove the upper PHR? Or relocate it?

BMR makes a panhard bar relocation kit, see the last pic in my post above, it gives you alot more clearence to get over it. I've seen it done without it, but it would be difficult to get anything bigger than 2" over it and may be prone to rattling.
My setup is anchored to the tranny tailshaft bolts where the stock cat was anchored and then at the rear bumper between the muffs and the tips...and its rock solid, very little movement can occur.

here is a good reason to relocate...

This is why you need to relocate, notice the crushed pipe and bent bar...?
