Alright so here is my story, im just cruising along down Beverly Pkwy and here comes this car gaining on me really fast...its a V6 mustang, with lights, with a wing, and two BIG ASS ricer tips on the back. So now im thinking to myself "here is my chance to see if the ol 4.3 can beat this Ford piece of shit". We get up next to each other (after the road clears) and he nails it and gets ahed of me somewhat.

So now im like "alright, I see how it is" so I pull up next to him and we both nail it at the same time. I pull a EASY 1-1/2 to 2 CL on him and still pulling until I shut it down at about 80. We get to a light with some traffic and I ask him what he has done to it..he said "just nos and the stuff you see here", I asked him to purge his naws and he said he couldnt becasue he was low on it.. Then he was saying how my truck has a V8 in it...lol..it only has exhaust. So then we go turning onto airport from davis (right turn) and he nails it to try and get around me, so I notice this and I give her some gas, he STILL couldnt keep up even when his momentum he had going. After that he turned off on some side road and I didnt see him since then.

Nice kill. Ive killed a few cars in my 01 xtreme. Air intake, dual exhaust, and a tuner......it wakes them a lot! Plus no stupid speed limiter anymore

Ive got the dual exhaust but I do want to intake and the tuner..big differences eh?

yes it did. the intake setup was the biggest change, the 4.3 is so laggy before intake, now it has soooo much throttle responce. The tuner helped sooo much in the transmission department. Now it shifts almost as hard as a shiftkit, and i changed shift points so it shifts later at WOT. i raised the rev limiter also, and took the stupid speed limiter off.

yup.....the rear end is blown right now though. too many burnouts and it got wheelhop once really bad.....now its dead. the new rear end is getting a limited slip.

wow niice truck! LT1 tips??? I dont have any day pics of the truck.....my tips are off a 3rd gen camaro edlebrock catback setup. They are a hidden style.

wow man yours is nice too. The exhaust setup cost me 300, its a Flowmaster 40s Si/Do. I really like your truck man the blue color on the xtremes look awesome. Do you have any pics of the engine bay? I would like to see the Cold Air Intake. After the programmer what kind of cars were you beating?

Btw I noticed your sig...and I think you should get an A4 LT1...i like the low end torque they have, and I think they sound better than the LS1's w/ an exhaust.
