Oil pressure sensor

Question???? I tried to change the oil pressure sensor on 2000 LS1. I went to the dealer the sensor they sold me has 2 pins, my old sensor only has 1 pin. I went back to the dealer and they told me there is harness adapter, the new harness adapter has 2 wires, my harness in the car only has 1 wire.

DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHAT TO DO?

Don't know what's going on - I do know there's a difference in the 98 and the99-02 OP sensor part numbers, but don't know about the pins. 98 is 12559781 and other is 12562267. I'd think a "harness adapter" would have 2 pins for the sensor end, and one pin for the car harness???? TTT for you, maybe someone knows for sure...

Yeah, actually my oil pressure sensor looks like that one with one wire, but the sensor is in a different part of the block behind the intake. Part number 12559781 is for the sensor that I got from the dealer which has 2 pins. Part number12562267 is for sensor with 4 pins for the newer ls1.

Is it possible your car was using an LT1 sensor, in the LS1 port since it's a '95?
