theres not really any charts out there.

im not sure of what the PP makes numbers wise, but i know the other two dont really beat out the good ole ls6 intake.

The PP intake flows about the same as the LS6 intake, and slightly better in upper rpm range, there's a large post about it on another forum.

I would stick with the much more proven LS6 intake personally.

i think thats my problem is ive never really seen any flow charts for any of the Intakes...I mean im sure the Weiand intake must be good, else lingenfelter wouldnt be using it....and ive heard good things about the BBK intake, even though it flows similar to the stock composite with a metal intake you have the ability change ports around if you wanted to...and i really just dont know much at all about the professional products manifold

yea these could slightly outflow the LS6, but you definately don't want a metal intake manifold. Polymer (LS6) is much better. Once your engine warms up the manifold becomes heat soaked. Heat= enemy of horsepower.

the downfall for intake flow with the LS6 isnt the ports but the 78mm which they all have

only options are LS6 or FAST90 (and of coarse FAST only if set up sustains the $$$)

    LS6 and 78mm

I went with the proven LS6 and 78mm FAST TB. Seems to be a significant power increase and torque. Can feel a difference.

I will be buying the 96mm Professional Products manifold along with their 96mm throttle body within the next couple of weeks to prepare for finally throwing on my heads and cam. Will be paired with a set of CNC machined stage 2 heads with manley valves/springs/retainers and a 224/231 581/589 cam on a 114 LSA. Hoping to see good numbers so maybe I can cut back on the spray a little finally Ill post a review of the PP Manifold though, I dont mind being the test dummy and as stated before thier 85mm version puts the same numbers as the LS6 for about 2/3s the price brand new.

im doing the same. except im using the 85mm version cause im going to use my ported and polish throttle body, set of ported LS6 heads and a ZO6 cam...im going to have nick williams do the tune and we will see how it goes from there...the only thing i have found that i really dont know about is that the composite manifolds have an accumulator built into the fuel rail.

from what they say it comes with a new TB gasket and intake gaskets and hardware but i also ordered new injector o-rings. i dont want to deal with a leaky injector. the only thing im unsure about ill probably end up calling the PP but i dont know if theyre gonna send torque specs for the bolts...i guess we will find out on friday....by the way. nice hood man.. i loved the fitment when i put mine on. unfortunately my car got vandalized and i havent quite decided what color im going to paint the whole car and i like it flat black i may just spray it flat black permanently

by the way what have you used for a nitrous set up and are you going to go with a direct port setup now that your going to have a metal manifold? did you have to retard the timing in order to run nitrous. ive got my ZO6 cam stuck in 4 degrees advanced i was really thinking of sticking a 150 shot in the car though

I am very interested to see how the Professional Products manifold performs. I would like to put one on my LS2 in my 60 Corvette for the hp and looks, but I have not been able to find anyone with experience using one and a lot of people are concerned about the heat soak. As fast as the air moves through the intake I don't think it has enough time to heat up significantly, but I will be looking for your results.

Good luck with it and keep us informed.

    What about a LS2 over a LS1.
    Any benefit?
