how do I post picks with new threads

How do I post pics with new threads. I am new and don't know what I'm doing. I thought it would be as easy as "copy" and "paste", or "add file". Your help would be appreciated.

You have to have more posts (then 10) before they'll let you post....not sure how many but yeah. Then you just click on the little paper clip that's at the top of the message that you're typing (in a new reply)....
