Stall and Gears

I'm changing gears and I plan to put a stall on my car within the next couple weeks........What gears do suggest I go for....I have 324 or so but I was planning on going to 350 or 373.......I like to go to car shows alot so I think the 350 would be better ofr the more distant rides however the LS1's on the street with the 373's are killer! Also I was debating on the stall 3200 or 3800 What would be better on a 2000 A4 SLP SS Camaro? I've got the transgo shift kit in it but I wanna build up my trans as much as I can so just hit me back with what you think

you have 323's...there's not going to be a huge diff between 323's and 373's. Unless you want your gas to take a huge dive on the freeway, I'd go with 373's. If you had a stick i'd say 410's. I've been told to go one bigger than the stall you want, so i'd go to a 3500 stall if it was me.

Do the converter first. Go with the larger stall.

If you are going with that high of a stall (i.e. 3800) coupled to 3.73's, I would replace the flexplate with a TCI SF29 unit, Jeg's and Summitt sell them for $199. I replaced my weaker unit in my 01 Z28, and when compairing both flexplates there is a night and day difference, the TCI unit is definetly beefier.
