Dude I see what you're saying, and I agree that street racing can be dangerous in all but rare circumstances, but its just not really needed IMO.

We're all heard it before, if you post that in every kill story, it just get obnoxious. Anyone with common sense can see what racing in a busy area or in less than ideal conditions is a bad idea and can result in accidents and injury, and anyone without common sense shouldn't be street racing in the first place.

If you want to preach go over to the ricer forums, those tools are the F&F crowd that think street racing 8 lanes wide in busy metro areas and weaving through traffic at 150MPH is cool

Wow talk about an exaggeration. The NSX is overpriced garbage.

A C6 Corvette pisses all over the NSX in every category. Its got a better engine, more power, its much faster, it handles better, it sounds better, it brakes harder, and its faster around a road course. Its also half the price. The NSX is a joke, having a "titanium frame" or "handbuilt interior" doesn't make it a better sports car by any means.

people get hurt and killed every year at drag strips and thats setup for racing. On the street lets be honest, there is no place for it anything could happen.I'm not trying to spoil your fun or rag on you.I'm twice your age easily,i'm just injecting some reality into your 19 yearold hormone outta control existance. My 2nd car was a 1968 383 barracuda, which lucky for me broke so many times i sold it.The 20 yearold that bought it wrapped it around a tree, turning himself into a helpless brain damaged veggie. He didn't hurt anyone else either unless you count his parents,GRAND PARENTS,,sisters, brother, uncles, aunts and girlf.I seriously think you should discuss this racing with your parents. At least they can be prepared if the worst happens.Maybe even talk you into going to the track.

what sticks in my mind the most is the elderly couple killed one sunday afternoon by a 1970 nova just clowning around.killed 5 people!

5 think about it,in 1 second 5 peoples lives were over because of someone getting on it,blowing the engine and crossing the yellow line.Happened right out in frt of my shop.Witnesses said the nova was doing over 100 mph when it blew its engine and all hell broke loose as it slid on the oil.The old couple never even seen it coming as they were hit at the very top of a blind hill as they drove over the top the nova creamed them. The blood and oil laid in the street for days,it was sickening.

I never said it was anywhere close. The F50 murdered everything on the track.

The stats for an NSX are 0-60 in 4.8 seconds and a 13.2 1/4 at around 107mph. It weighs 3,069 lbs. Skidpad numbers mean little when comparing track performance. The E46 M3 only holds .91 stock but is a track monster.

Here is a video I found that is race #2 of the race that I have. In this instance, the NSX was overheating for some reason but still managed to hold off the Lamborghini for almost the entire race. It is the Type-R. The Type-R is not all that special comparred to the stock NSX. A bit lighter and a few suspension mods, but nothing spectacular. It is going up against 500hp monsters that turn 0-60 in the 3 second range, have 200mph top-speeds, and out-drag race it by 1 to almost 3 seconds. It shaves off .2 in both the 1/4 and the 0-60 run over the stock NSX.

    http://videos.streetfire.net/search/...1752188513.htm

You think your F-Body can keep up with this? Give me some of what you're smoking.

Enough said. Stop speaking, the NSX is a ripoff, you're not fooling anybody.
