Chicken in Boxster S

I was driving home form work this morning when this guy in a Boxster S thinks he is all the cool shit and starts messing with me in traffic a bit. I get a head of him in a clear area and move over for can get along side of me. The light we are coming up on turns red and he takes a fast turn into a parking lot! He was staring at me when I was sitting at the light. I could tell he was just waiting for me to be gone. I was pissed that I didn't get to give him a real ass spanking!

Good for him (his ego), too bad for you, but he's smart. Do you even understand what you would have done to this Boxter-S? From a dig, you obviously would have won. They're like goddamn Honda Civics off the line. Highway would have been the same. I absolutely annihilated one from a 90mph highway roll in my stock A4, and Porsches are supposed to have a good top-end. And yes he was racing/trying to show off the superiority of his (almost) base model Porsche.

I had the same crap happen to me the other weekend. By a fellow F-bod Camaro no less!

He followed me out of town, even cut somebody off that was between me and him, real rude like.

I saw him cut them off, so I thought he wanted a piece. I punch it and leave him. I slow down, and there he comes flying up on me again. We go across another light and it is WIDE OPEN, NO CARS, and nothing but STRAIGHTAWAY.

Thinking this was what he was waiting for, I pull in second and am cruising about 25 or 30 mph waiting on him to try and fly around me, and the gotdam bastard turns into a gas station when nothing but air and opportunity was there.

I was gonna tear his face off when he tried to go around me!

haha damn porsche owners.

One time i see this guy on a friday night out cruising in a boxter so i just felt like wasting him. I paced him for a few blocks and he just kept looking over and wouldn't bite. He had his girl with him, so thats why he probably didn't want to race. He knew he would've been stomped / embarrased.

I don't know how many times I hear non-informed people say that a Boxster S can beat a Trans-Am! They always say oooh an S is a special one that has lots more power. I keep telling them if it's not a 911TT it aint shit. I finally get my chance to see and the little chicken shit runs. I'll keep on the look out for one to kill.

the boxster s is a civic off the line?????? its a mid engine sports car....should launch fukin great.....hands down youll hand one there ass in the long run....believe there around 5.3 to 60 and quarter mile high 13s around 102...pretty quick but anyone that can drive there ls1 should have no prob

I parked beside the guys Porsche one day, after the head install, and he said, "Is that Camaro faster now?"

The guy is the head honcho around here, so I thought discretion was the better part of valor, and decided not to tell him the race would be over after mid-second gear. Hell, it would have been over before it started.

If anyone gets a Boxster S for dragracing, they should be shot and creamated on the spot. They were never intended for outright acceleration.

Why? Sub 4 second 0-60 runs and 11 second 1/4s not good enough? Maybe it is the 196mph top speed that is not impressive...

I have to say I agree, between the insane sticker price, luxury tax and March of the Mad Dollar maint. requirements NO THANK YOU. Lots of other cars that I would rather see/own for the needed cash.
I used to own a slightly modded 88 944 Turbo and that's just a baby compared to some of the others, fast .. ? ehh sokay. Ride ? Fantastic handling and some ok body lines..First req maint ? Fuck that ..1700 bucks and this was in 1990..Back to the world of Domestic V8's I went..
