Haha, if you look up Wesman's posts you will find them in almost every EVO/STi discussion, mostly negative. It doesn't matter what figures you quote or what facts are thrown up. He has his mind made up and he's sticking to it.
But hey this IS an LS1 board, so I'm respectful about that and the fact that he's entitled to his own opinion. It's also nice when things don't degrade into personal attacks or flamefests. Peace.Last edited by garrettjj; 11-10-2006 at 04:17 PM.

For what its worth, my other car is a MY99 impreza 2.5 RS. It has a custom turbo kit and is a blast to drive on the track and in the dirt.
I estimate it only has about 265-270 hp... but it is lighter that stock (w/ STi bumbers) is about 2800lbs. My best time in it was a 13.5@101mph. Not anything to brag about but... it is very fast out of the hole.
There arent to many street cars that cant hang with it from a stop, since you dont have the luxury of a burnout before the light turns green.
Top speed is limited thanks to lower hp #s and 4.11 gearing.
Its still a blast to drive.

Its probably possible under optimal (perfect) conditions with an excellent driver and a 6,000RPM clutch drop.
There's no way an STI will even hit low 13's without a very hard launch, and in the process you risk grenading the drivetrain and most certainly frying the clutch.
So can it hit 12's?? Probably. Can it hit 12's reliably and consistantly?? Hell no, the car well fall apart. So is it really worth destroying your clutch and ruining your car to run a 12.9 instead of a low 13, with the same trap speed of 100MPH?? Hell no its not, but ricers are dumb and they do it anyway.

More retarded comments from the e-thug. You are aware that the DSMs from 1990 to 1999 shared the 4G63 right (same engine as EVO). There are thousands running past 200k. Your examples are based off your assumptions which are completely false and one sided. When you have some real data to compare and share, you should add, otherwise your just going to continue looking like a complete moron to everyone, however I think youve dug yourself so far into the hole there's no getting out now. You knew someone with an EVO who had it break a lot, therefore all EVOs are junk and they blow up. Thats some pretty awesome logic.. for a toddler. Get off the computer, pull out your butt plug and ATTEMPT to stop being a douche bag.

Not thats ironic. A stupid riceboy who drives an EVO calling me names on an LS1 board. You are an immature punk kid, I can just picture you ricing around in your piece of garbage Evo with your hat turned sideways and your rap music bumping. Get a life retard, Mitsubishis are garbage, of course you're going to deny that though being that you obviously get off just thinking about EVOS. The 4G63 is not the great motor you say it is either, ever heard of crank walk?? Yea, you neglected to mention that rather important issue that destroys the whole engine
Heres a better idea - instead of me "unplugging my computer" (good one, you must have passed 1st grade), how about you get the hell off this site. You are completely useless, you contribute nothing, and all you do is troll the Street Racing section and start shit with people who don't like your piece of trash riceburner. Nobody cares, I don't owe you an ounce of respect for anything, and nobody takes you seriously when you drive a car with an airplane wing on the back and a sideways fart can sticking out of your tacky ass body kit.
Go back to your Evo forums, and stop trying to spead rice around like the plague. Nobody likes your car, its a piece of shit, get over yourself and just leaveLast edited by Wesman; 11-17-2006 at 02:57 PM.

Man all I can say is the same parroted rhetoric gets OLD...
Here's a thought for some...
fanatic
adj : marked by excessive enthusiasm for and intense devotion to a cause or idea; "rabid isolationist" [syn: fanatical, overzealous, rabid] n : a person motivated by irrational enthusiasm (as for a cause); "A fanatic is one who can't change his mind and won't change the subject"--Winston Churchill [syn: fiend]

Well boy's there is only one way to settle this one and I feel it is in the best interest of this site if you guys race. If you think someone's car is shit then show him.
Everyone loves their car and thinks it is the best, the only way to show them different is smoke em.
If you guy's do race must see the vid.

Hahahahhaha youre great entertainment for sure. Wow Im sure none of us saw that textbook reply of yours coming. Youre as good as it gets. Im immature huh? Look at your replies, then look at mine. I think I'd bet that everyone on here would say you have the comprehension and literacy of a 10 year old. Newsflash: EVOs dont have crankwalk pal, sorry to let you in on that. The motors will last a very long time, I know thats hard to cope with. I dont have a body kit by the way, theyre gay
