Car Club Vs. '00 Z28 (Me)

Ok, this is going back alil while. I was driving back from cruising around w/ some friends and jumped on the parkway. My friend was following me in his Cooper S and we saw a 90 something V6 Stang so of course my friend jumped in front of me and started messing w/ him. Well, the Stang was actually trying to catch up to a crap load of cars in the car club "FIZZ". They had it written all of their rides. They had a bunch of WRX's all w/ full rollcages, a big white turbo deisel truck, some beemers and other stuff. Well, once they saw me it was on! They got along side my friends Cooper S and pulled on him and slowed up. I jumped in the right lane and hit a straight away and flew passed all of em and they all caught up and man were they fast! I could barely keep up w/ the truck! We did the 3beeps and everything. I'd say I gave most of em a good run.

yeah some diesels can be pretty nasty. I am going to be adding some goodies to my 04 4dr 4x4 duramax soon. lets just say Gayle Banks is a diesel legend.

Gotta give credit to those trucks. A guy I work with has a Chevy 2500. Done a lot to it, including dual 5 inch stacks. Raced him back when I was stock.. he stayed with me through first gear, but when I went to second, it was over. There is a diesel research place somewhere up here with a Dodge, single stack exhaust. Raced it right before I did headers. Never had a truck stay with me to 110mph. Then again, no one behind us could see anything, due to the thick black cloud it layed down. The girl driving it waved at us, and took the next exit.

Last weekend I passed a club of WRX's.. state patrol had 6 pulled over on I-5.. 4 others had pulled over a ways ahead, I guess waiting. 3 were STI's. All looked pretty nice.

banks is about the lowest on the diesel performance chain. (my opinion)

TST is were it's at...(also my opinion)

A real diesel (94-98 12v cummins), they dont even have chips.
all mechinal modifications required for speed/power.
