Whats the best Radiator sealer out there?? Which ones to avoid??

I can see a small leak on my radiator. Im overheating a lil bit. Just want to know if someone has successfully sealed thier radiator. Or have you had a bad experience with the sealers? Thanks.

Prestone super sealer is the best I found .Sealed a head gasket leak and lasted 20,000 miles before it failed.

The stuff that comes in the little tube-filled with grey powder-sorry don't remember the name but it's very common. It works great and doesn't seem to clog stuff up.

I believe you are talking about "Alumiseal", it is great stuff.

doesent that crap mess with your heater core and all your water passages i heard it accumulates in it an viola no heat and eventualy core failure and we all know what that means , ripping the dash out the best fix is a permanant one especally with a very expencive aluminium motor that is very difficult to replace heat and aluminium dont mix!

Yeah-'Alumiseal'-is the name. First off I want to point out that on the late model F-bodies replacing the heater core only requires removing the glove box-not the whole dash. Secondly using stop leak like 'Alumiseal' doesn't always clog stuff up. If you're on a serious budget you have to do what you have to do-I've been there=done that.
