Deisel Trucks are pretty quick?
I was going home and this chevy deisel was riding my ! We came to a long passing lane up a hill where the slower traffic keeps right, and he came flying up past me, well as we all would do, I punched it, and went around him, but I had to go well over a 100 to do it. I was a bit surprised on how fast he was going for a truck...any way he honked with a big smile. I know its just a truck but I beat other cars easier.....

its getting pretty common to see 12 second diesel trucks on the street here so you never know what the outcome might be. the majority of those trucks are gonna be turds but they are monsters with a tune and exhaust. you can piggyback the chips on top of each other and get into diff. types of injection to make even more power my dad has an 05 F250 4x4 ext. cab on 37" BFG's and after the tuning, intake and Banks monster exhaust it will BOIL those tires from a slow roll. the difference in modded vs. stock blew my mind, that truck pulls extremely hard for its size and weight and shifts hard as hell too. i like em!!

I raced one with my ex-g/f in the car going to the Myrtle Beach in my full-bolt-on, geared 01 Cobra. That big ass Ford was F-A-S-T for a damn truck dude (a fuckin' diesel no less). Especially one that looked like she tipped the scales at 5 or 6K pounds, and shaped like a brick.
He came flying up on me, and all I could see was chrome grille in the rear view. I dropped into third and mashed it, but I didn't smoke him like I thought. I slowed back to 75 and he riced past me, so I got into it again, but hell, I had to go around him at 120 in fourth! Gotdamn! He would eat a stock GT, not an 05 & up, but the earlier ones would have had their ass handed to them.
I slowed back down to the speed limit and the ex said, "Glad you two got that out of your system." I said, "Damn, that truck was fast." She agreed. I miss that ho, she would sit over there while I was taking curves at 120, or going 150+ on straight-aways, and wouldn't say a word, hell, I think she got off on it. Over there creamin' in her panties.Heads 'n Cammed, Moser 12, 3.73's, Weight Reduction, 13" Brembo Kit
BMR track suspension, full exhaust, the works...
412whp/394wtq 1/4 mile slip coming soon!

I raced one a couple months ago. 04 Dodge 2500 with a Cummins. 6900 pounds, putting down 520 hp and 1161 ft/lbs of torque. He RAPED me out of the hole. I barely nosed him out at the end of the 1/4.

I like my Duramax, and I have the Banks pkg, but only for towing! You need to check out Bully Dogs Ram. Over 800 hp , and over one thousand pounds of foot tourqe. It went High 11's but the radiator gave. I think it might of aired on the show Pinks. I know it did win the race cause I get a subscription to Diesel Performance, and that is what I have read on there beast. It's fun stuff.

Deisel trucks? Christ all mighty! I usually watch em on the Speed Channel on cable. I couldn't imagine taking turns w/ a tall brick of a truck at a 120mph+.

I rebuilt the engine in my friends 99 dodge 24 valve cummins and it is sick. The truck has a 10 inch lift with 38 inch tires and runs 12.4's in the quarter! It has 60 pounds of boost with an HX50 turbo, edge controller, massive injectors, banks exaust and a 200shot of juice to get it out of the the hole. That truck is pretty bad, it will burn the 38's on a 40 roll. That truck has surprised many a sports car and other trucks. Deisel performance is getting even more popular these days and most trucks just stock with a programmer and exaust are pretty impressive. Those engines are like feeding a fire the more fuel you give them the more they boost, my friends 99 dodge has no wastegate on it so the edge box just allows the engine to get more fuel when turned on which equates to more boost and madd torque!

I just put a Hypertech PowerProgrammer III in my Duramax and I couldn't believe it. It's about 100 hp/160 ft lbs more. (by advertisement) The prior owner of the programmer said he ran a 15.3 in the quarter with his Duramax. I'm not sure what it runs stock, but 15.3 isn't bad for a 6,600 lb vehicle. The best part is, I only paid $190 bucks for it!
