A few weeks ago i raced my 99 z28 against a tricked yellow S2000 and beat him at six different stoplights and when we got on the highway i lost sight of him in my rearview, nice lookin car though.

I don't think he was "tricked out". Most of thoughs ricers know they can't run with us so they rather waste thier money makeing thier car look nice. You probably raced a stock S2000 with just body mods.

The thing with imports is that you have to buy alot of parts be for you start to see any resaults.

Many times yes, but watch out for those few supercharged S2000's and the like, they can be fast, and if you get overly cocky, they can leave you feeling stupid....and no, I'm not speaking from experience, haha, I just have a friend who knows quite a bit about the S2000's.

I raced a yellow Honda S2000 too. I smoked him from a stop until I got about a car lenth on him then let off the gas. The old man wasn't giving up yet though. I realized he wasn't backing down yet so I hit the gas again and still managed to stay ahead of him. I don't know if he had mods but I don't think so.

S2000's are good from about a 40 roll. They suck off the line. You need to launch at 5K or so to make them sorta quick from the line. They are great at handling and whip nice donuts.
