I really don't think this guy is that slow. Lightning's run w/ LS1's all the time, and I know that a $45K truck should put a hurtin on alot out there! Is that guy an '03? And I'm not sure, but is there a big diff in the SVT (Special Vehicle Team) versions?

Exhaust doesnt do much for these trucks really...but if he is running a 4 pound lower, which seems to be the norm, then he is pushing 12 pounds of boost and probably making just under 400 horse to the ground

How do you think a 400hp Lightning would do from a dig on street tires? Maybe if I pull off a good enough launch?

That all depends on the driver and the tires.....if a Lightining nails a good launch it can be deadly...but if he misses it is one big smoke show.....course my rwtq #s make it difficult anyways

Go from a dig if he has street tires. From a roll if he has a 4#er will be close to about 90 and then you will start pulling because those things are like a brick when they get around that speed. Should be a good race in the 1/4.

Depends what is done to the 02 L stock for stock you should take him atleast that is how it was with my 02L and my 01Z. I put on a 4# pulley, cai, chip and boost by pass and then I could take the Z when it was still stock except on the top end.

I think that he is talking about a cold air intake.

Well, yes it is a Ford, but from what I understand, stock for stock this Ford truck runs the same ET as my Z28 man. Flowmaster sucks the big one I know, and I'm probably gonna go w/ a MagnaFlow soon.

    Update: Raced him last night.

From a dig, I spun em through 1st and 2nd. He spun alil and let off like I SHOULD'VE!!!! He beat me by 3 cars. My rear street tires are bald. Time for some M/T ET Street DR's. Thee end.
