Actually I did. They gave me the option of claiming to put <3000 miles on it annually (which I do) since I have a daily driver for work etc. and my insurance actually went down when I added a 2nd car due to that fact. Once the f-body isn't your primary car you can save TONS of money. If buying an f-body I recommend keeping another car to claim as a daily driver and you actually come out cheaper than with just the f body, or I did anyways

on a side note, severedistortion, do you ever take your car out to the raceway? Im sactown local and wouldnt mind talking cars and watching you making some runs to see how your mods are working out...I love American muscle in all its forms. Have you looked at turbos for your car? I saw that you were thinking NA or forced induction and I am kicking the same question around for an ls1 build.

not yet...I work late swings so i'd have to take the day off to go. Finding time is a major pain in the ass...i'll give ya a pm when I do go though. It'll be soon because I wanna get a base run with just my bolt-ons...then with the cam n heads. Do ya know of a place that doesn't fail a cammed car on the sniffer?
