'99 Z28 vs. Taurus!!!!!!!
I was on my way to a friends house when i hear a ricer muffler. I look all around and spot no ricer cars. Then i see this taurus full of kids zoom by me with a huge pipe on the back. I instantly gave chase and caught up. WOW this kid must have thought his taurus was the shit. He had his factory rims painted black, tints, hyperwhites, and that muffler. It was an 00-05 taurus it had factory rims not hubs so i think it was an uplevel taurus with the 200hp doch V6. He his buddy riding shotgun and there were two girls in the back.
I never get tired of embarasing guys infront of their girls. I wasn't gunna put this guy to shame but he was asking for it. He starts pacing me at about 40 and i look over and the whole car is staring at me, then he hits it hard and i downshift to second then whooooo. I scream by as the taurus tried its best The best part was he looked so confident and then the look on his face as he lost the race in about 2 seconds. The kept going down the same street as me for like 5 miles and kept looking at my car as if it was a surprise an LS1 killed their taurus.
Then on the way home i recieved some awesome recognition. This guy and his wife (40ish) pulled up next to me in thier olds alero. It has a small lip kit on the whole car - looked very sporty for an alero. But anyway - when the light goes green i take off at a normal pace and as he hears my revs rise right before i shift to second he shouts " GIVE IT SOME MORE" i hold on to first look over see him smiling in anticipation then gave it all i had. I chirped into second and third. I got into my turning lane a few lights later and he honked as he drove by and threw out the horns What an awesome guy. Must have been a muscle car nut!

Dumbasses and their taurus's...it never ceases to amaze me how uninformed some people are...or he didn't see your z28 badge because your Z is NBM and was trying to impress some skanks by beating a 6'er maro

Some people see 16 valve DOHC and go crazy. They'll buy a car that has a little more "pep" than their last one and then all of a sudden they turn into the "Kenny Bernstein" of the red lights. I get "pulled" into more races than the law allows...those, I know I can beat this car and shouldn't be racing, but this person needs to be taught a lesson.

What was he thinking. He wasn't a even a SHO. What an idiot.
With my 95 MTX SHO, ran a LS1 TransAm. I knew I would lose, but I wanted to see how well that V6 would hang from a highway roll. We started about 70 MPH and quit just over 120 MPH. He had pulled about 3 car lenghts on me. But I figured for a V6, not too shabby. From a dig, it would have been a bigger buttwhippen for sure.
