    Hooker Aerochamber Catback

Yesterday I had the folks at Fbodycentral in Baltimore install some Jet Hott LT's, ORY, Cutout, and Hooker Aerochamber catback for me, as well as do a full dyno tune afterwards. I was at first a bit disappointed by the low idle grumble from my Z28, but once it was hooked up to the Mustang dyno and run, my Z28 came to life and sounded totally awesome! It's very quiet at idle, but once you goose it it growls quite nicely. WOT is something different all together. The tuner Brett was able to coax a good 296 RWP amd 285 RWT capped, and 300 RWH and 289 RWT uncapped. This might sound a bit low to some, but I have a stock heads/cam car with 116,000 miles on the clock and a 3500 stall converter, which the test was done with the converter unlocked. The Hooker catback must flow quite good since only a few more HP was made with the cutout open. I'm very impressed with my whole new system, and can't wait to test it out tomorrow at the track. Looks like my 12.80's are going to be bested! I recommend the Hooker catback highly, and the exhaust tips are nice too.

Totally stock suspension (for now)...BFG Drag radials at 17 psi. Nearly all of the tread is gone too.

I have the pacesetter lt's and ory and the hooker catback. It sounds awesome, just like you said; quiet at idle but when you hit the throttle it gets LOUD.
