Thought about the ride-along at Daytona a few years back... but it was hotter than shit that day.

YES! I have done this the last two years when they came to Bowling Green. Drove the Lamborghini Huracan 1st year, and Ferrari 458 and Corvette Z06 last year. The cars are production cars, not governed in any way. You can go as fast as YOU are able to go. The cars are more capable than you are, so you are not pressing their limits. You get a bit of classroom instruction, and then you drive with one of their instructors, and they guide you about where to be on the track, where to turn in, etc. You have full control of the car, they are only telling you when to turn, basically.
It is a total blast, and worth every penny in my opinion. They are coming back to Bowling Green next month. This year they have the new Ferrari 488 and the new Acura NSX, among others. I am definitely going to do it again this year. In fact, I'm glad you posted this. I am going to go ahead and book it before all the spots fill up.Next LSx here

They were both incredible, and you would love either of them. I was more nervous in the Lambo, since it was the first time I'd done it and didn't know exactly what to expect. But between the two, I'd say the Ferrari was the most fun. The sound of it alone is enough to send chills up your spine. You won't be disappointed, no matter what you decide to drive. And fair warning.... after you go the first time you will want to do it again, so have your credit card ready!
