    Ive got an 87 swb Chevy I've been working on, hard to say exactly what I'm going to put in it but def ls and 6spd.

    '02 WS.6 / '07 Suburban

    The 5.3 is a stout engine and should be in good supply at most boneyards. Our '07 Suburban has a 5.3 and with our loaded race trailer it is moving 13,500 lbs. up and down the hills of northcentral PA. Only limiting factor for us is the crappy 4L60E as the jump between 2nd and 3rd is a bit much.
