We haven't been pounded so far yet this year. Seems to come and go pretty quickly with our temps jumping up and down every few days. I think I saw 50's in the forecast for the end of this week... which is about a 40 degree jump from where we are now.

Drove up on a nice black 05-06 GTO this morning. Tag said GOODTRY...got a little closer and saw the badging, one side said LSX, the other side said 6.7. If we weren't in city commute traffic, I do believe that tag would've had a lot more meaning for me That car sounded very, very healthy.

We're getting pounded with rain. The hill across the street is already nice and green. I love looking at greenery out of my windows instead of dry dead brown. I'm just hoping that the hills to the rear of us stay put

How about dat national championship CFB game

Didn't really have a dog in the fight, just glad Ohio state got buttfucked. Congrats to Clemson though. Alabama has enough titles lately.

leading up to half it looked like alabama had it under control and I was tired so I went to bed Imagine my reaction when I saw the score this morning. I was like you....didn't really have a dog in the fight but I'm also not against seeing good finishes to ball games either.

2nd half was fun to watch, definitely an edge of your seat game. I was pleasantly surprised to see Clemson take the win.
Football has been a hype train straight to disappointment for me, for all three teams that I follow. Oklahoma, Oklahoma State & Oakland...
Fortunately, both OK teams dominated their respective bowl games, for what it's worth.
Unfortunately, Raiders cratered without Derek Carr at the helm. At least they had a winning record finally, I should be happy with that.

We got close to a foot here. Makes for real fun in nc. Especially by Sunday from the melting during Saturday followed by a night of 5 degree weather. Sheets of ice everywhere. Schools are still closed because the ice is so bad in rural areas.

Yea, we get snow/ice like that every year. It's why the port of Milwaukee has multiple salt mountains waiting to be loaded up into plow trucks throughout the year.

I'm sure if you ask the Mayor real nice you can borrow some.

Desk day! Still playing catch up from last year at this point. We had a ton of sleet overnight and blustery winds -- made it hard to sleep at times.

We had that last week. Had 60-70mph straight line winds. Supposedly Gulf Shores/Orange beach had a tornado. All I know is that we had a shit ton of rain. My bird had a small puddle in the floor board behind the drivers seat.

That sucks, but not to upset because new carpet will be going in soon.

Yea, pretty windy last night. Heard a noise, went outside to find my garbage cans were knocked over. Then I saw a Christmas tree roll past my front yard. So I grabbed it and stacked it with the other Christmas trees I had gathered. Now I have 4 to burn. Should make for a hot, tall fire.

Speaking of that....Saw on the news here a couple weeks ago some dumbass set his apt building on fire by cutting up his Xmas tree and burning it in the fireplace. They said it was his flue but I have money on that sum bitch getting too hot or popping sparks out into his living room. Play stupid games....win stupid prizes. Anyone that's ever burned a dry ass dead Xmas tree knows it's a dumbass move to try that indoors.
