    LS3 block and LS2 heads?

Anyone ever hear of someone using a LS bare block and LS2 heads? Trying to think of a way to go to a 6.2 liter and keep the 24x reluctor and the rest of the wiring and conversion to a minimum.

They are cathedral port but I would be using my LS6 intake, or a FAST .

The idea is to minimize the amount of wiring change / system conversion.

    LS3 block and LS2 heads?

get a LQ4 or 9 from 99 to 04 yrs. They are 24x. As a 6.0 liter you have a near perfect base. It can use LS1 or LS3 style heads.

In addition you have many configurations to get desire builds.

If you need more info hit me up.

Also you can't use LS1 style heads with a LS3 block. The bore size is too great and you would have gasket issues.

Plus it would be like making an Olympic athlete breeze thru a straw while running a triathlon.

    Thanks for the info,

If I do go 6.0 liters, I'll buy a LS2 bare block, or a decent priced used long block. I know it costs more but I still want an aluminum block for my build, so I can keep as much weight off the front as I can, and push weight distribution rearward.
