There's a Bullfrog in my diff
This MP3 file is from my TA. It's coming from the rear area ... but I can't actually tell if it's the diff. The diff was rebuilt 20k ago, and I also replaced both axles and bearings about a year ago. I also just replaced rear rotors and pads last weekend. This has been going on about a month.
Any ideas on what this could be?

Not sure either. It plays for me after it downloads, instead of playing off of the web page. Is there a preferred codec to use for audio files? I used the site's uploader. ?? Maybe I should upload it with a video track?

Have you tried going to each rear coner and bounce the car up and down? Cycle thru the shocks. It sounds like something is rubbing.

There is some - what sounds like bushing noise when I am driving and go over bumps ...etc. There is some slight noise when bouncing the car. The Bilsteins may well be shot. I have probably 80k on them. It's hard to wrap my head around that noise being attributed to shocks or bushings. I'm starting to wonder about the backing plates for the rear brakes, or even the e-break pads. I can jack it up and rotate the wheels and it's quiet... It is related to the axle play, as it only happens when cutting the wheels hard right or left and going slow speed. Not sure how much end play, but I can certainly clunk them in and out.

Does it happen only during turns? How about hard acceleration?
With you saying hard left/right turns makes me think suspension. Springs/shocks. It could very well be your isolaters (the rubber that the springs seat on between the body and spring) are worn out.
I would get it on a lift or jack stands and see if you could find anything.
Hell last weekend I discovered my passenger rear shock broke the bolt off. It was making the rear feel out of sorts. So anything is possiblehttp://www.ls1.com/forums/f7/my-6-liter-build-174257/

Yes only on turns and only at very slow speeds. No issues at all with hard acceleration. Here's a thought, I did some investigation.... The first time that I heard this I was in my parking lot at work and you have to do hard right turns when you are traveling up through the deck looking for a parking space. I had just gotten tires a few days prior. I have also noticed that these tires appear to bulge more at the sidewall (32 psi)... even though they are only 245s on the stock rims. They are the BF Goodrich G-FORCE COMP-2 A/S.
But as you said, I need to just get under it. I have some Koni STR.Ts to install. I'll deal with it then... most likely next weekend.
