Cordless Drill - Impact Driver Review & Reccommendation

I spent too much time researching before I purchased, thought I would share some thoughts on a very good drill & driver for your shop & home use too.

I have several Dewalt tools and they have all worked very well. Been considering a cordless impact for track days.

For the money and warranty, the Kobalt line of tools at Lowe's cannot be beat. I have their 18v cordless drill and their 24v 1/2" impact. Both are super solid quality, and for a bit cheaper than Dewalt. Lowe's has a no-hassle 5 year warranty on the tool and 3 year for the batteries. Hard to beat IMO.
