Started the car after work, CEL comes on and car is running rough. Had the codes run at Autozone to see how serious they were. Rough idle on cold start and misfire on cylinder 5. Went ahead and dropped it off at the dealer and picked up a loaner car. We'll see what happens...haven't even hit 10k miles yet.

It's funny that my first reaction was to go to Autozone to have the codes run, like I was going to do the work myself. Old habits die hard, but I'm kinda glad I have a warranty this time around.

Still, probably a good idea to have a clue as to what is going on before you hand it over to the dealership. Some old habits are good habits

yeah....it won't take you long to remember why you worked on your own cars. You have knuckleheads like Carpy working on your shit. I wouldn't let that guy screw in a light bulb much less work on my car. I mean just look at the size of his fire pit......you can roast exactly 1 marshmellow at a time on it.

True, and knowing me I would have lost my mind by now having no idea what's going on
Knowing what the codes are, I at least have something to Google and find the worst possible scenarios for a very broad range of similar symptoms (WebMD anyone?)

Ohhhh man Carpy...he took it there, insulting another man's fire pit
I am extremely nervous leaving my car in the hands of strangers. This is literally the first time I've let a dealer work on one of my vehicles, and it's only because it's under warranty.
It took a lot to convince myself not to just open the hood and start digging on my own.

I'm going to guess either a faulty/loose coil or wire. Seems to make the most sense on a new car. Banged the rev limiter on it recently?

They are leaning towards injectors. They are updating their testing equipment now and should know a verdict tomorrow.
