63 corvette ls swap question-driveshaft

Im doing a Ls swap into 63 corvette. The car was a 327 with 4 speed. I have the motor and transmission, 4l60e, in place. I tried the driveshaft from the 4 speed, it fits the tailshaft of the 4l60e. Any reason not to use it? I was going to send it out cut balance and reinstall. What has everyone else done? This is not a race/track car. Thank you.
