    Problems

I took my car to get the carrier bearings replaced. They told me when they drove it the car did not seem like does not go to first just second.

They told me they advise me to get 1st/2nd gear solenoid replaced. I do feel a delay when it shifts and when i go from a deap stop it does not pull at all. Also i cant even do a burn out. I put it in first and it wont spin at all. Do i need to get the solenoids replaced asap?

Also if i was to get the solenoids replaced should i do all of them?

Also, when im at a dead stop and floor it, it does not like pull at all. They said it does not go into first at all. Does that basically mean my 1st gear is out? Also i have the 2001 camaro A4 i believe

You need to hook up a scanner and then post the codes that pop up. Almost all transmission issues will set a code that can help us point you in the right direction. How many miles and when was the last time the transmission fluid and filter were changed?

It's either an A4 or M6. If it's an automatic, it's an A4. There's no other option available for your vehicle if the transmission is OEM (stock).

P0753 is what the code says. It told me what it was as well which was the 1st/2nd gear solenoid.

First step in the diagnostic is to check the ENG CTRL fuse for a short and if blown locate a short to ground. There are then a series of resistance tests to be performed and it isn't until Step 19 that it calls for replacement of the solenoids. Just want to make you aware of this in case swapping out the solenoids does not fix the issue.
