Problems
I took my car to get the carrier bearings replaced. They told me when they drove it the car did not seem like does not go to first just second.
They told me they advise me to get 1st/2nd gear solenoid replaced. I do feel a delay when it shifts and when i go from a deap stop it does not pull at all. Also i cant even do a burn out. I put it in first and it wont spin at all. Do i need to get the solenoids replaced asap?

You need to hook up a scanner and then post the codes that pop up. Almost all transmission issues will set a code that can help us point you in the right direction. How many miles and when was the last time the transmission fluid and filter were changed?

I also checked my door panel but could not find where it identifies the car as s A4...

It's either an A4 or M6. If it's an automatic, it's an A4. There's no other option available for your vehicle if the transmission is OEM (stock).

First step in the diagnostic is to check the ENG CTRL fuse for a short and if blown locate a short to ground. There are then a series of resistance tests to be performed and it isn't until Step 19 that it calls for replacement of the solenoids. Just want to make you aware of this in case swapping out the solenoids does not fix the issue.
