LS swap information wanted please

I am considering purchasing a '65 GTO and I want to install a LS 5300 in it, looking for information about performing this swap

Especially living in Michigan where the big 3 resided in those days.

In any event, what is it you want to know specifically? It's going to be the same deal as any A-body swap, they've been done to death. Several venders offer headers and mounts and all that stuff now. Even gas tanks designed for in tank pumps etc... it's really pretty straight forward nowadays.

one of my buddies is a Pontiac freak, he wasn't real happy about my ideas :rofl: and I live right outside Pontiac, Mi too

didn't know who's mounts worked better than others, ones to avoid and stuff like that

check out speedway motors, or summit, or even ebay for that matter.. some of the stuff will make a difference but your basic stuff will be very similar, no "better or worse" options that ive heard about.. i went with all holley stuff and called it a day for my swap.. you can read my 71 chevelle swap overview, itll give ya a good idea of everthing your gonna have to do. but its really not that hard now days, you can buy everything you need out of a book at this point. you might run into a couple minor differences with the GTO but im sure you can find a thread about that, best of luck
